Pipe Replacement & Repair

Drain Surgeon’s licensed plumbers have the experience to perform any pipe repair.

The pipes in your home are built to perform for several decades. However, it doesn’t mean they can’t leak or break before their lifespan is up. Over time and depending on material and water conditions, pipes can erode, rust, and decay. Replacing pipes isn’t cheap and should be done before pipe failures cause big problems.

So how do you know when it’s time? Not sure of the condition of the pipes in your home?

Most supply pipes are made of copper, brass, and galvanized steel with a lifespan between 70–80 years. Drain lines typically made of cast iron or PVC have a lifespan of 80-100 years and 25–40 years respectively. It is possible for pipes to last longer if maintained properly and inspected periodically.

video pipe inspection

Whether you have a persistent plumbing problem or simply require routine maintenance, a video pipe inspection can be exactly what you need to be protected from significant plumbing damages in your home.

At Drain Surgeon we use state of the art video pipe inspection equipment to identify problems with drain lines.

Utilizing this technology, our inspectors can determine the cause of the most difficult sewer or drain challenge.   Even the smallest pipe interior can be inspected without digging and taking the pipe apart. This can save a tremendous amount of money in labor costs, particularly in commercial operations that have many pipes.
